WELCOME TO INVESTOR WELFARE 

The Center for Investor Welfare and Corporate Responsibility promotes research, teaching, and student activities that emphasize the integration of scientific and ethical principles in corporate practices. The UC Davis Graduate School of Management is widely recognized for its leadership in responsible management education and the Center showcases student and faculty activity related to social and environmental responsibility.

CalPERS & CalSTRS Fellowships 

The Student Fellowship Program provides an opportunity for Graduate School of Management students interested in the financial services industry to gain valuable experience at the California Public Employees' Retirement Systems (CalPERS) and the California State Teachers' Retirement System (CalSTRS). As two of the largest pension funds in the world, CalPERS and CalSTERS are recognized as leading advocates for improved corporate governance.

Curriculum 

The UC Davis Graduate School of Management is committed to weaving social and environmental issues into its curriculum. Integrating these issues into the GSM's coursework creates a culture that values the wealth creation generated by corporate actions while recognizing and addressing the social and environmental consequences of economic activity.

NET IMPACT  

The Center works closely with the local chapter of Net Impact, a student organization dedicated to creating a network of business leaders who use the power of business to create a positive net social, environmental, and economic impact. The GSM's Net Impact chapter has been honored as Small School Chapter of the Year in 2006 and Trailblazer Chapter of the Year in 2007.
